A big weekend of racing for Mile High Multisport athletes who were raced all across the country (Colorado, Ohio, New Mexico, Tennessee and Illinois). Just a few reminders as most of you dust off the racing cobwebs. Spend some time working on your transitions. The Mile High Web page has an article on transition tips in the athletes only section. You can always google triathlon transitions or watch some videos on you tube to get some tips. Timing chips seemed to be a problem for a few of you today. Invest in a good timing chip band and make sure they are well secured under your wet suit. For those of you concerned about squeezing every last second out of your transition consider cycling and running without socks. I've run for years without socks in racing flats and no socks without complications. If you insist on wearing socks I suggest you put them on after the bike when your feet are dry.
